Because of the nature of our programmes, you may voluntarily disclose information relating to your emotional or physical wellbeing. Where this is considered sensitive or “special category” data under the GDPR, we will process it only when an appropriate legal basis applies, including your explicit consent where required.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information through the general website contact form unless it is necessary.

• Improve our website, services, and communications.

• Protect the security and integrity of our website and systems.

• Meet legal, tax, regulatory, or professional obligations.

• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We will not use your personal information for purposes that are incompatible with those described in this policy without informing you and, where required, obtaining your consent.

5. OUR LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Under the GDPR, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Contract: Processing is necessary to provide a service you requested or to take steps before entering into a contract.

• Consent: You have given us clear permission, including for certain marketing activities, non-essential cookies, or sensitive information where explicit consent is required.

• Legitimate interests: Processing is reasonably necessary to operate and improve our business, respond to enquiries, secure our website, and maintain client relationships, provided those interests do not override your rights.

• Legal obligation: Processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws, accounting requirements, or regulatory obligations.

• Legal claims or substantial public interest: Where permitted by law in relation to sensitive information.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

6. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

We may send marketing emails only where you have consented or where another lawful basis permits us to do so.

You can unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting founder@alignedwithadrine.com. Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending necessary service-related communications.

Our website may use:

• Essential cookies needed for the website to function.

• Preference cookies that remember your selections.

• Analytics cookies that help us understand website performance.

• Marketing cookies used to measure or personalise advertising.

9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers may process information outside the country in which you live, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

Where GDPR transfer rules apply, we use appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision, approved Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

You may contact us for more information about the safeguards used for international transfers.
